It is my hope that these web pages will convey something of the excitement and richness of life at Bromsgrove School in the very early years of the new Millennium.
Bromsgrove School, founded in 1553, is one of the original fourteen members of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. It is now a leading co-eduactional boarding and day school which provides the very best of modern education. It is proud of its traditions but looks to the future with confidence.
Pupils are at the heart of the Bromsgrove system. Each one is a unique human being, with particular strengths and weaknesses and very often unrecognised potential. It is our great privilege to be influential in the development of young people with their receptive minds and emerging talents. At Bromsgrove we value academic success highly - and our academic 'value-added' is very high indeed - but we appreciate that other human qualities and skills are important. Each pupil has the ability to achieve success in some area given suitable guidance and encouragement. By creating a positive atmosphere and a wide range of opportunities we give our pupils every chance to develop their talents to the full and achieve excellence in intellectual, practical, cultural and sporting pursuits.
